Our Religious Tradition

From earliest times, people have been concerned about their final earthly resting place, especially that it be near the gathering place of their families so that each may be held in lasting, loving remembrance.

St. Paul’s Columbarium is located in the Memorial Garden. The  columbarium, a vault with recessed metal niches, or compartments, for the placement of the earthly remains after cremation, is installed in a stone wall that  blends with the exterior church structure.  Forty columbarium niches are installed in the shape of a cross surrounding a bronze centerpiece depicting the 23rd Psalm.  Two columns of forty niches each flank the center section.  Protective bronze fronts covering the niches are embossed with a grapevine design.
There are a total of 120 niches, each sufficient to hold the ashes of one individual. Each niche bears a metal identification plate for the deceased’s name, and the dates of birth and death. Niches and related services in the Columbarium may be reserved at a total cost of $500 each, by advance commitment, or, if available, at time of need. Funeral and/or memorial services may be held in connection with the Columbarium interment by arrangement with the Clergy.
Reservation forms are available from the church office.
